Designbox welcomes The Produce Box! Fresh local produce picked at its peak and delivered to you!
2011 is their 4th season of bringing fresh local produce to Triangle residents! With that they are committed to:
- Getting lots of farm-fresh, field grown produce into the local food system.
- Making it easy, convenient and affordable.
- Paying a “sustainable” price to the farms we work with for their best products, not the lowest price we can get.
- Helping local farmers reduce waste by having them “pick to order” instead of hoping to sell what they have.
- Using more than one farm from more than one NC county to provide the most variety and best quality fruits and vegetables the state has to offer. They have over 25 farm-partners this year!
