Abstract and playful, Lee Tripi’s artwork uses the canvas to activate space both inside and outside the canvas. Tripi is a well-versed interior designer that consults on a wide variety of projects that explore the East-West Fusion aesthetic. A graduate of the University of Akron’s arts program, Tripi uses color and abstract forms to serenely play with balance. He currently serves on the Raleigh Arts Commission, contributes the the News & Observer’s Home Section and is co-authoring a book.
Suzy Andron is also both an interior designer and painter. Her work not only experiments with texture, color and composition, but it leaps right out of the canvas and into the room. By assembling multiple geometrical panels of sculpted and painted canvases, her work transforms entire walls. The result is abstract, gestural and very energetic.
