Mars Ain’t No Place to Raise Yer Kids, a benefit for Oliver Gant

The first show opening in our new space in February will be a group show about rockets, space and all things space-shippy. The theme was chosen by our good little friend, Oliver Gant, who has been going through cancer treatments and surgeries since his diagnosis a year ago, in February of 2011.

As Oliver and his family journey through this unknown territory, 20+ local artists and friends have donated their artistic visions to have fun with the little man as well as to raise money to help cover some expenses. Art will be priced at $100 or less and all money taken from these art pieces will go to benefit the Gants. A percentage of sales throughout the rest of the shop will also be given.

In an effort to raise as much money as possible, a select few art works will be sold in a silent auction! The auction will take place during the first Friday opening, on February 3rd. Bids may be placed between 6PM and 9PM.
