For the month of August, we have a 3D “Photobooth” scanner in the front gallery space! Come by Designbox for First Friday or anytime through the month Monday–Friday 11a–4p to get scanned! Click here to learn more about the 3D Photobooth.
AND on Wednesday August 13, our brownbag lunchtime speaker is Adam Rogers from NC State University. Adam will tell the story of NC State’s 3D Photobooth project, which allows people to experience 3D scanning in person by striking a pose and getting themselves scanned. You can get scanned yourself on Wednesday (space permitting).
Order Your Action Figure!
Printing takes 3–5 business days from the time your order is submitted, and once your Action Figure is printed we will contact you by e-mail for pick-up. Payment, cash or card, will be due when you pick up your figure. Designbox will print your file as is, so if there are any missing appendages (ex. arms) in the file that is how the Action Figure will be printed. Please be aware that all 3D files are printed with supports (see photos below order form). We will remove the majority of the supports, but some figures will have detail supports we may leave for you to remove.
