It’s a creative place.
The mission of Designbox is to define a gathering space for great creative talent from a variety of design disciplines like graphic design, product design, architecture, landscape architecture, interior design, illustration, copywriting, marketing strategy, etc, etc. Independent designers and firms meet together to inspire and motivate each other. Some members of the box work at the box, others come in for creative sessions. Any type of design, someone in the box can help. Combined with our extensive material and vendor resources, the creativity of Designbox cannot be beat.

It's a think tank.
Our brainstorming and creative services enable a fresh and focused look at seemingly unsolvable project and business puzzles. Got a project that's stuck? Losing marketshare and need some new hype? An invention without a market? An idea you can't resolve? The different perspectives of Designbox yield unique approaches and creativity that pushes beyond the rut of the expected.

It's an exploration.
We come together each week to discuss each others projects, to gather new ideas, and to refine and critique existing ones. We explore new methods of idea generation, new materials and processes, and learn about and define the latest trends. Then we let those explorations from each of the different disciplines bleed throughout everything, giving each designer new and fresh inspiration.

It's a gallery.
We open our doors late on First Fridays to promote great art and design. We support what is becoming a great Raleigh tradition of the First Friday Art Walk, and are continually impressed by the great art going on in Raleigh.

It’s the best creativity going on in the Triangle.
