Corrections on Indy Arts Award article. July 13, 2005
We are honored to have received this award by the Independent but do want to correct a few facts:

• Designbox was launched in February 2003.
• We had many founding members, including Chris Eselgroth, Paul Friedrich and JP Reuer.
• Gamil Design's office is inside Designbox, not vice-versa.
• Our upcoming charrette was held at Meymandi Hall in the Raleigh Convention Center. There was no connection to Exploris for this event.
• It was actually Thomas Crowder who contacted Pullen Park Terrace about the dirt being dumped at Dix. With the assistance of Dan Douglas at the Urban Design Center and Dan Howe, the Assistant City Manager, Designbox offered to help create a new solution by involving 49 members of the community. Some of the participants were neighbors, but the resulting ideas came from a much wider group that included city staff and construction contractors. More on the Dix Dirt Charrette.
